Here are some interesting things I’ve come across on the web lately and wanted to share:
I thought that this would be a fun project for the kids that makes good use of things from around the house. WhipUp is a blog I like to visit periodically when I’m pretending to be crafty.
This is actually a series of posts written by a homeschooling mom whose family lost everything in a house fire at the end of last year. I don’t know this woman at all and actually found her blog through another blog. I’ve also only read a few of her posts, but was immediately captivated by her writing and her strength and courage in the face of such a family crisis.
Here is another cute craft idea for making puzzles out of craft sticks. This one is Halloween-themed, but could easily be modified for just about anything – I might try this as a way to keep my kindergartener occupied!
This project would also be great for any homeschooling family on a rainy day (or snowy day! Won’t be long…).
I enjoyed reading this post by a fellow “mom of boys” and her take on the feeding of them.
Have you read anything interesting out in the blogosphere lately?
Have a great weekend!
~ Dori
